Michelle Alto, PhD is a clinical psychologist and postdoctoral fellow at Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health. She received her Ph.D. from the University of Rochester and completed her clinical internship at the Medical University of South Carolina. Michellse specializes in childhood trauma and has worked with youth impacted by maltreatment, community violence, poverty, traumatic grief, racial trauma, and traum related to war and migration. She has experience collaborating with schools, pediatricans, caseworkers, foster families, and socual workers to provide coordinated, trauma-informed services for youth from birth to early adulthood.
