Many SOWMA students share one bedroom with their siblings & family members at a family shelter.
A backpack serves as their personal space and “locker.” Our backpacks include the grade-level tools a student needs to succeed in the classroom. Our community of volunteers help ensure students have what they need to succeed.

Every Backpack is customized according to grade-level and includes an age-appropriate book! Browse through your favorites and select a read that you remember as a child, teen or young adult – and pass it along! We’ll pick up at Buttonwood!
