Awarded Silver-Level Status by NQMS
We are excited to announce SOWMA’s Bridge Mentoring Program has earned national Silver-Level status through the National Quality Mentoring System (NQMS) in partnership with the Mass Mentoring Partnership (MMP).
This distinction recognizes mentoring programs that meet 75% or more of nationally-recognized quality standards, placing SOWMA among high-performing mentoring organizations across the country. Our program scored in the mid-80% range, positioning us within reach of Gold-level status, awarded to programs meeting 90% or more of standards.
This achievement reflects the strength of our mission, systems, and commitment to program excellence. Recognition goes to Brittany O’Hare, Bridge Mentoring Director, whose vision and dedication guided this process from start to finish. Alongside Lili Luc, Bridge Program Coordinator, the team worked diligently to ensure our mentoring program met and exceeded key quality benchmarks.
“This recognition reflects the commitment of our mentors and mentees,” said O’Hare. “I am so grateful for the care, and consistency of those who volunteer their time to guide students through high school, college, and vocational training.”
This recognition highlights School on Wheels’ commitment to continued growth and long-term impact. As we continue to work toward Gold-Level status, we remain committed to expanding opportunities and support for the young students we serve.
