Bridge Mentoring

SOWMA’s Bridge Mentoring Program helps high school and college-age students explore educational and career opportunities.

Congratulations to our Bridge Mentoring Soaring Scholars, recipients of a scholarship founded by Bill and Annmarie Harlor.  Click the photo for a recap of an extraordinary evening.

We place special emphasis on working with unaccompanied youth, ages 16 – 25, who are on their own without the support of a parent or guardian.

In addition to helping students navigate high school, college or vocational training, we support students through GED study, HiSet exams, internships, job placement and apprenticeships. Most of our Bridge Mentoring students are the first in their family to pursue a post-secondary degree.
