Sana leads School on Wheels of Massachusetts’ tutoring programs, ensuring that students experiencing homelessness receive consistent, compassionate, and high-impact academic support. She oversees program design, volunteer and staff training, partnerships, and data-informed evaluation across SOWMA sites.
With over a decade of experience across the education ecosystem, Sana’s work has spanned teaching, instructional design, coaching, and academic program leadership. She has guided educators, built learning frameworks, and developed systems that improve student attendance, engagement, and long-term outcomes.
Sana holds an Ed.M. in Education Policy Analysis from the Harvard Graduate School of Education, with a focus on adaptive leadership, systems change, and equity. She also earned an M.Sc. in International Business from the University of Nottingham and a B.Sc. in Computer Science from the Institute of Business Administration.
Sana believes that while systems create structure, human connection creates change, a value she brings to her work every day at SOWMA.
Beyond work, Sana finds joy in food and flavor. She loves cooking and exploring new cuisines. When she is not on a culinary adventure, she is often people-watching in city parks, or noticing uncanny doppelgängers in everyday life. She also loves meditating, though life sometimes gets in the way of her doing it as often as she would like. These small moments remind her that observation and connection are forms of learning.
