Joanna Gerson Fleming is Director of Compliance for Computacenter North America, serving also as Privacy Officer. An attorney, Joanna has been in-house in legal and compliance for 12 years, prior to which she worked as an intellectual property litigation attorney for a boutique IP firm in New York. Joanna has spearheaded corporate social responsibility projects ranging from a laptop donation program in which retired company laptops were donated to projects in developing countries, to a “Project Night Night” campaign in which she organized her office to pack comfort essentials for children in local homeless shelters. Prior to becoming a lawyer, Joanna was a journalist – serving as a reporter for the Old Colony Memorial newspaper in Plymouth, and subsequently as an editor and analyst for a technology think tank in the retail industry. Joanna enjoys spending time with her two elementary school-age children, and when she isn’t at her younger son’s soccer game or her older son’s karate class, she can be found kickboxing at a local kickboxing studio.
