Chris Murphy is a Fellow of the Society of Actuaries and a Chartered Enterprise Risk Analyst with over 30 years of experience in the Insurance Industry. His current consulting practice is assisting large international insurers with corporate capital planning and risk management initiatives. He was previously SVP at Aviva Life Insurance (formerly Commercial Union) where he had worked for 25 years in various leadership positions, including Asset Liability Management and Product Development. Volunteer work includes Chairman of the Advisory Board for Elders Living at Home Project in Boston, Harpoon Helps and Community Consulting Team (CCT), a group of MBAs that provides pro bono consulting to non-profits. Chris is a proud native of Brockton, MA and SOWMA's former Board Chair, Vice-Chair and Treasurer.
