Ms. Rodney is Senior Director of Pega Consulting Group, Pega Systems, Inc. She has spent the last 25 years building her career in the high-tech software industry, specifically in areas of Systems and Operations. She is currently the Sr. Director for Consulting Operations at Pegasystems, one of our corporate sponsors, and has led a Pega-supported backpack drive for the past 6 years. In 2019, Pega received the SOWMA's “Companies for our Kids” award. In Carla’s current role, she drives the day to day operations of $100M+ in annual revenue for Pega’s Consulting organization. Carla’s breadth of experience is focused on driving efficiencies through streamlining business processes, invoicing, contracting, system implementations and rollout, reporting and analytics, compensation design, and annual budget process. Carla is passionate about SOWMA’s mission to assist as many children across Massachusetts who are faced with homelessness by giving kids essential school supplies and help with learning, and really an equal chance to succeed. Carla is a first-generation immigrant to the US from Portugal and is no stranger to poverty and living with minimal resources.
