Athena joined SOWMA as Executive Director in February, 2025. Her involvement with SOWMA however, began as a volunteer in 2009. Since then she has served as Board Chair, Vice-Chair, tutor and mentor. Her past professional experience includes international business operations for Boston and London-based technology firms. She was a program manager and writer for the Kokkalis Program on Southeastern and East-Central Europe at Harvard’s JFK School of Government. Athena is a graduate of Boston College.
