iPads for Learning

Our students at the Downey School were very excited to learn that we will have an iPad for the entire year.
The first student to use it was Jovanie, a second grader.
I showed him how to begin working on the iPad and within minutes he was very comfortable using it with his tutor, Spencer.
Bubbles X Addition Game for Ipad
He played the Bubbles X addition game and with Emma's support was able to figure out how to add not just two but three numbers  to find the correct match.
Bugs and Buttons game for ipadAfterwards, he played the Bugs and Buttons Tic-Tac-Toe Game which is his favorite so far.
The other students are all looking forward to their turn.

We are grateful to the Boston Bruins Foundation, The Agnes M. Lindsay Trust and the Neponset Valley Sunrise Rotary Club for the funding to provide this access to technology to our students.
